3. Client Responsibilities

- Pay fees as agreed in engagement letters
- Maintain confidentiality of privileged communications
4. Limitation of Liability
SorenHalen shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from service use. Liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months.
5. Intellectual Property
All work product, documents, and advice prepared by SorenHalen remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients receive a license to use materials for the intended purpose.
6. Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality of client information consistent with Malaysian legal professional standards and applicable data protection laws, including GDPR where applicable.
7. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall be governed by Malaysian law and resolved through arbitration or court proceedings in Kuala Lumpur.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate engagement with written notice. Upon termination, outstanding fees remain due and client assumes responsibility for pending matters.
9. Changes to Terms
SorenHalen reserves the right to modify these terms. Continued service use constitutes acceptance of changes.
